About

I am a self-taught artist who works with acrylic paints on canvas and vinyl records. I paint in an abstract style to create atmospheric imagery of isolated science-fiction landscapes. I often use a variety of tools to create texture and mood in my paintings. I also enjoy creating abstract digital art.

One of my strongest artistic influences is punk and post-punk cover art. Science fiction horror films from the 1960s and ’70s are another source of inspiration. Through my art, I strive to express that there is beauty in chaos and wonder in the unknown.

Music is another creative outlet for me. I have been sitting behind a drum kit since high school. I started my first band with my brother in Tampa, Florida, a few decades ago, and I’m currently a member of the Boston band The Milling Gowns. I’ve covered many genres of music, from power pop/new wave and psychedelic pop to gothic post-punk and shoegaze/indie rock.
